Let's talk Bras

WOAH. OMG I SEE A BRA STRAP.
Some of y’all will look at a woman’s bra strap as if it is new information that women wear bras. Getting called out just because your bra strap is visible is completely ridiculous. Getting dress coded for it, just not it.
It’s literally a piece of clothing which is now visible because someone’s shirt has shifted a little bit. And now you’re going to blame it on her that the men are being distracted from it and she needs to pay attention and make sure THIS PIECE OF CLOTHING is not visible?

We say that every person is in control of them and their actions, right? So the exact same applies here. It shouldn’t be the woman to take the blame that they are “distracting men.” Men can control their eyes and look away if they feel distracted.
Might sound a bit rough but, honestly, if you get distracted by another woman’s bra strap, that’s on you. It’s your responsibility to control yourself, no one else’s.
Like honestly hun, are you going to be able to find my bank account pin by the look of my bra strap? What’s going on 😂
Ladies listen: we get taunts for going braless. We get taunts for wearing bras and showing the strap or cup by accident. So what can you do? Just keep worrying about your outfit? No! You’ve got to live your life! Go braless or wear a bra - it’s YOUR choice, YOUR body.
People will keep talking, that’ll always continue. Our job is just to keep going. We’ve got our work to do and it’s not our responsibility to make sure men don’t get distracted. If the man gets distracted, that’s all on him.

Wanted to end this by saying this taboo about saying “bra” needs to go. It’s a piece of clothing for goodness’ sake. We don’t care saying belt and cardigan, right? So why are we ashamed of saying bra? Will leave you with that question, take care ♥️
